Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and develop comprehensive full-stack features for an AI-driven web application.

• Integrate AI models and APIs for tasks such as document processing, data extraction, and recommendation engines.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to seamlessly integrate models into production.

• Conduct research and prototype innovative AI applications.

• Construct scalable, secure, and observable cloud architectures to support AI services.

• Implement data pipelines essential for AI model training and inference.

• Create engaging user experiences that incorporate AI-powered functionalities.

• Actively participate in architecture planning, code reviews, and brainstorming sessions.

• Take ownership of feature development from start to finish while coordinating with QA and other teams.

• Facilitate communication across teams to resolve dependencies and enhance release processes.

• Contribute to quarterly planning and various company-wide initiatives, including hackathons, engineering guilds, and experiments with AI tools.

• Strong full-stack development expertise in Python, React, Redux, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

• Practical experience in integrating and deploying AI/ML technologies in production settings.

• Solid grasp of AI/ML principles and customer-centric applications.

• Capability to design modular, testable, and scalable backend architectures.

• Quick adaptability to learn new frameworks, libraries, and tools.

• Proficient in observability and monitoring techniques for cloud-native applications.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate proactively and tailor technical explanations for diverse audiences.

• Detail-oriented approach to problem-solving, particularly in complex domains.
