Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain Java-based enterprise applications utilizing contemporary frameworks such as Spring Boot.

• Lead or actively participate in the design and architecture of modular and scalable systems.

• Create robust APIs and integrate distributed components within a microservices framework.

• Execute unit, integration, and functional testing.

• Assist in vulnerability remediation and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.

• Diagnose complex issues across various systems and environments.

• Engage in code reviews and mentor junior developers as necessary.

• Generate technical documentation and support materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience with a BS/BA; 3 years with an MS/MA; or 0 years with a PhD.

• Cybersecurity workforce certification AIM/IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, CASP+).

• Active Public Trust Clearance.

• Experience with Java-based enterprise applications using modern frameworks like Spring Boot.

• Strong expertise in Java, object-oriented design, and Spring Boot.

• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and service-oriented architectures.

• Practical experience with SQL Oracle RBDMS and MongoDB databases.

• Thorough understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, WebSocket, CSS).

• Experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Comfortable working in Linux environments and using command-line tools.

• Proficient with version control systems such as Git and conducting code reviews.

• Experienced with build tools like Maven.

• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS.
