Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop backend services using C# and .NET Core

• Create and maintain REST APIs utilized by verification providers and employer systems

• Integrate with employer payroll platforms and HR systems

• Standardize employment and payroll data across varying source formats

• Support authentication and authorization processes for employees and employers

• Construct event processing for verification requests and their responses

• Review and provide feedback on code

• Participate in Agile development cycles

• Diagnose and resolve production issues

• Collaborate with senior engineers and report to the Director of Technology Solutions

• Manage sensitive employment and income data with care

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of three years experience in building production software

• Proficient in C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, JSON, and relational databases

• Experience with integration of third-party or enterprise systems

• Ability to manage partner APIs that may return erroneous data

• Comfort working in cloud environments and utilizing modern Git workflows

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States

• Candidates must perform their work from a verified residence in the United States

• Government-issued ID and identity verification are required prior to technical assessment

• Technical assessments will be proctored; any third-party assistance will result in disqualification

• Employment history, identity, and work authorization will be verified before an offer is finalized

• Preferred qualifications include experience with Microsoft Azure, enterprise SaaS integration, and secure coding practices
