This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Contribute Rust code that facilitates the creation, management, reconfiguration, and adaptation of cloud resources.
• Utilize AI effectively to enhance the speed and quality of code delivery.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on architectural decisions, new feature design, and infrastructure planning.
• Interact directly with users to collect requirements, devise solutions, and troubleshoot issues.
• Work on cloud integrations that autonomously manage message brokers, databases, Kubernetes resources, and additional cloud services.
• Assist in creating virtually isolated environments while minimizing resource duplication.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in writing production-grade Rust.
• Located between UTC-5 and UTC+4.
• Strong systems-level thinking skills.
• Proficient in debugging complex, distributed environments.
• Comfortable working asynchronously in a remote-first startup setting.
• Knowledge of cloud-native environments, including Docker, containers, and Kubernetes, at a level beyond the basics.
• Familiarity with backend infrastructure tools such as datastores, message brokers, and GitOps tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Nice to have: Experience in developing developer tools.
• Nice to have: Experience in building Kubernetes operators or other components that interact with the Kubernetes API.
• Nice to have: Experience in DevOps or Platform roles.
