This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee digital engineering test automation initiatives.
• Guide technical professionals and manage the team
• Utilize Digital Engineering methodologies, tools, and frameworks to create precise specifications and designs for commercial and/or DoD systems/components.
• Identify, develop, and evaluate enterprise IT activities, solutions/risk mitigations, artifacts, and migrations within extensive enterprise operations environments.
• Implement systems engineering principles, processes, practices, and procedures in technical tasks.
• Collaborate with internal and external enterprise technologists to address intricate technical challenges.
• Employ Robot Framework, Python, PyCharm, GitHub, and AI tools for test automation.
• Utilize Atlassian JIRA to define, schedule, and monitor engineering team tasks.
• Independently devise innovative automation methods and strategies.
• Lead discussions and engage with Government clients, colleagues, and senior leadership.
• Travel as necessary to oversee the team.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, in System Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering field from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities.
• Experience working with DoD stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with subcontractors.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must hold a Secret clearance.
• Proficient in applying Digital Engineering methods, tools, and frameworks to formulate detailed specifications and designs for commercial and/or DoD systems/components.
• Capability to integrate knowledge from various domains to tackle new, complex issues.
• Experience in large enterprise operations environments, including the identification, development, and analysis of enterprise IT activities, solutions/risk mitigations, artifacts, and migrations.
• Familiarity with systems engineering fundamental principles, processes, practices, and procedures in technical assignments.
• Proven experience collaborating with internal and external enterprise technologists to resolve complex technical problems.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Robot Framework, Python, PyCharm, GitHub, and AI tools.
• Experience using Atlassian JIRA for defining, scheduling, and tracking work assignments within an engineering team.
• Ability to work collaboratively and remotely in a team setting.
• Capacity to independently develop innovative automation methods and strategies.
• Communication skills necessary for leading discussions and engaging with Government clients, colleagues, and senior leadership.
• Preferred: Experience with No Magic’s Cameo Systems Modeler (SysML), Collaborator, and Teamwork Cloud.
• Preferred: Experience in defense industry systems engineering.
• Preferred: Experience utilizing test automation frameworks within DoD.
• Preferred: Background in IT network systems engineering.
• Flexible remote/telework arrangement.
• Occasional travel as needed to manage the team.
