This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure utilizing Terraform.
• Create and manage solutions on Azure, encompassing deployment, configuration, and optimization.
• Set up and sustain Azure API Management services.
• Oversee and support ActiveMQ messaging systems.
• Track system performance and application health using Dynatrace.
• Lead the troubleshooting process and conduct root-cause analysis for intricate system, application, infrastructure, and cloud challenges.
• Collaborate with development teams to incorporate CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, Git, or similar platforms.
• Implement best practices for code versioning, branching, and deployment automation.
• Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance through ongoing improvement and automation efforts.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the establishment of DevOps best practices and standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or similar positions.
• Strong practical experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Familiarity with Azure API Management (APIM).
• In-depth knowledge of messaging systems such as ActiveMQ.
• Experience with Dynatrace or comparable monitoring and observability tools.
• Proficient in Git-based version control systems like Bitbucket or GitHub.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities across distributed systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Willingness to travel, including air and car travel as necessary.
• Capability to perform sedentary work and occasionally exert 10–20 pounds of force.
