ColdFusion Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and enhance the existing ColdFusion/Lucee platform.

• Manage around 8–12 support tickets weekly, addressing bug fixes and maintenance duties.

• Investigate and resolve escalated support issues impacting sellers and buyers.

• Maintain and monitor AWS infrastructure.

• Address approximately 1–2 AWS infrastructure tasks weekly.

• Assist in critical business development projects and manage overdue integrations.

• Develop and sustain integrations with partners, ERP systems, and external APIs.

• Collaborate with JTL, eBay, Google Merchant Center, and other essential marketplace or business systems.

• Diagnose and resolve issues affecting platform availability, payment processes, and vital integrations.

• Independently manage multiple workstreams and priorities.

• Respond to critical P1 production incidents, such as platform outages, payment failures, and integration disruptions.

• Provide an initial response to P1 incidents within 30 minutes and strive for resolution within 2 hours.

• Produce and maintain codebase and system documentation as formal project deliverables.

• Support the platform during its transition to a modern technology stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ColdFusion/Lucee in production settings.

• Strong background in maintaining and supporting legacy ColdFusion applications.

• Experience with marketplace platforms or high-traffic e-commerce systems.

• Expert-level knowledge of MySQL, including complex schemas and database structures.

• Proven expertise in AWS infrastructure and practical DevOps experience.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and external marketplace, ERP, or partner integrations.

• Strong skills in debugging and managing production incidents.

• Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple priorities across various workstreams.

• Willingness to address critical production issues outside of standard business hours.

• Capability to respond to P1 incidents within 30 minutes.

• Willingness to create codebase and system documentation.

• Availability for a full-time, 12-month engagement.

• Experience with payment systems, marketplace integrations, or migration projects is a plus.
