Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Contribute Rust code that develops, manages, reconfigures, and adapts cloud resources.

• Leverage AI intelligently to produce high-quality code more rapidly.

• Collaborate with the engineering team on architecture, design of new features, and infrastructure.

• Engage directly with users to collect requirements, create solutions, and troubleshoot issues.

• Work on Cloud Integrations features that automatically oversee cloud services such as message brokers, databases, and Kubernetes resources.

• Create virtually isolated environments with minimal resource duplication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.

• At least 1 year of experience writing production-quality Rust code.

• Located between UTC-5 and UTC+4.

• Strong systems-level thinking abilities.

• Capability to debug complex, distributed environments.

• Comfort in working asynchronously in a remote-first startup setting.

• Familiarity with cloud-native environments, including Docker, containers, and Kubernetes, at a level beyond the basics.

• Knowledge of backend infrastructure tools such as datastores, message brokers, and GitOps tools.

• Strong communication skills.

• Experience in developing tools for developers (a plus).

• Experience in building Kubernetes operators or other components that interact with the Kubernetes API (a plus).

• Experience in DevOps or Platform roles (a plus).
