Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Designs, develops, and tests software features and bug fixes.

• Constructs and maintains APIs, services, and database interactions.

• Creates unit and integration tests.

• Engages in code reviews and design discussions.

• Diagnoses defects and provides support for production issues.

• Takes part in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Documents code and technical modifications.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience.

• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, or a similar programming language.

• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.

• Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Must consistently utilize common office equipment, including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners, and printers.

• Preferred: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

• Preferred: Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting federal government contracts.
