This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.
• Engage in all stages of the Agile methodology, including planning, grooming, and executing sprint tasks.
• Acquire knowledge and manage integration points for the loyalty platform, covering live APIs, batch processing, and queue-based processing.
• Participate in design discussions and collaborate with product owners and team members to address acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain documentation for configuration and business logic rules.
• Support team members through coaching and mentoring initiatives.
• Advocate for and exemplify best coding practices and design patterns.
• Provide accurate time estimations and define the scope of work for assigned tasks and projects.
• Address information gaps as necessary to complete work successfully.
• Craft straightforward solutions to intricate problems.
• Propose creative methods to enhance processes and work components.
• Collaborate effectively with other teams and external partners.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and developing applications and components using Java and Spring (preferably JDK 11+ with Spring Boot).
• At least 3 years of experience in front-end web application development.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in designing and developing applications using Angular (preferably version 10+).
• At least 1 year of experience in developing RESTful services utilizing JSON.
• Experience in developing microservice cloud applications (Oracle, AWS, or Azure).
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in crafting SQL multi-table queries, inserts, and updates (preferably Oracle/PostgreSQL).
• Experience in optimizing SQL statements with execution explain plans.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Process).
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in developing Loyalty, Accounting, or Banking applications.
• Familiarity with Message Queues (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka Streams).
• Experience in building Docker containers and configuring Kubernetes clusters (kubectl, Docker for Desktop).
• Proficiency with build management tools (Bitbucket/Git, Gradle, Bamboo).
• Willingness and ability to travel as required to fulfill role responsibilities.
