This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Develop software applications in alignment with business needs.
• Analyze diverse tasks and autonomously decide on suitable actions.
• Establish standardized procedures for software quality assurance.
• Manage testing and debugging activities while creating solutions.
• Investigate issues and propose modifications or solutions for complex software problems.
• Implement strategies and operational objectives for the department, segment, and organization.
• Make judgments about work methods in situations that may be unclear.
• Work collaboratively in Agile development settings.
• Launch, oversee, and maintain scalable cloud applications.
• Assist with production releases and follow-up tasks.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on contemporary web application development.
• Proficient in integrating applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with Node.js and current JavaScript/TypeScript development methodologies.
• Practical front-end development experience with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design techniques.
• Experience with Azure or GCP, encompassing deployment, monitoring, and application scalability.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and Git.
• Knowledge of PCI, HIPAA, and CMS security and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within Agile development environments.
• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads.
• Capability to work from a dedicated space without distractions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Preferred: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Preferred: Familiarity with AEM integration and Next.js SSR, routing, caching, and hydration.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting production releases and post-launch activities.
• Preferred: Exposure to performance optimization, application monitoring, and observability tools.
• Preferred: Knowledge of GraphQL and experience with Apollo and/or Relay clients.
• Preferred: Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems, including familiarity with Kafka.
