Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Involve yourself in the First Advantage Fulfillment team

• Develop according to technical specifications

• Create automation scripts and write code

• Transition applications and data to AWS

• Investigate and resolve persistent technical issues

• Construct and sustain applications

• Produce maintainable, high-performance code while collaborating with the team

• Stay updated with technological advancements and embrace technical challenges

• Conduct code reviews and perform regression testing

• Develop test cases to ensure highly scalable code

• Acquire and apply new technologies based on project requirements

• Guide team members on adopting new technologies

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience

• 3-6 years of experience with Python and Node.js, along with .NET (optional), AWS/Azure Cloud, DevOps, and SQL/Postgres databases

• Proven experience as a full-stack product developer

• Proficient in SQL and AWS

• Familiarity with RESTful Web Services and Web API

• Knowledge of XML/XSLT, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery

• Experience with Selenium using Python or with Python and Node.js

• Strong problem-solving and R&D abilities

• Capability to work with emerging technologies

• Excellent communication skills with both offshore and onshore stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in a pertinent field

• AWS certification is a plus
