Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold high-quality software solutions.

• Deliver features from initial concept through development, deployment, and ongoing support.

• Create scalable APIs and backend services utilizing Java and Spring Boot.

• Contribute to frontend development efforts using Vue.js when necessary.

• Develop and maintain applications and services with Node.js.

• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Delivery teams.

• Support CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps methodologies.

• Troubleshoot issues and enhance system performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Commercial experience as a Software Engineer delivering production-quality software.

• Strong backend development expertise in Java and Spring Boot.

• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and scalable services.

• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies, preferably Vue.js.

• Proficient in working with Node.js.

• Solid understanding of software design principles, coding standards, and engineering best practices.

• Experience in writing automated tests and upholding code quality.

• Exposure to cloud platforms, such as AWS.

• Experience operating within Agile environments.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps principles.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
