Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop reinforcement learning environments to evaluate AI models' capabilities in addressing intricate software engineering challenges.

• Establish reproducible environments and define golden reference solutions.

• Provide expert-level code samples, debugging techniques, and development insights.

• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve intricate software defects and performance issues.

• Implement robust, scalable, and maintainable features adhering to software best practices.

• Refactor and enhance legacy code.

• Document technical reasoning, solution methodologies, and coding decisions to elevate AI training data quality.

• Review and verify peer-contributed code and technical submissions for accuracy and clarity.

• Utilize software engineering expertise to assist in training next-generation AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability as a contractor for 15 hours each week.

• Extensive hands-on experience in at least one of the following: Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.

• Profound understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.

• Demonstrated ability to debug complex systems, resolve issues, and implement effective optimizations.

• Experience in refactoring large codebases and modernizing legacy systems.

• Proven history of delivering high-impact features from inception to completion within cross-functional teams.

• Strong documentation and communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively.

• Interest in or curiosity about AI and its associated technical challenges; prior AI experience is not mandatory.

• Minimum task submission criteria are applicable.

• Experts are required to submit a minimum number of tasks each week.

• Ability to commence initial tasks within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding if selected.
