Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, and sustain scalable backend APIs utilizing Python and Node.js

• Develop API integrations that facilitate the export and application of translated content using XLIFF

• Diagnose and address content model, identifier, and integration edge cases

• Design solutions for structured content transformation across various services

• Partner with product managers, frontend engineers, and cross-functional teams to provide dependable backend solutions

• Ensure the production of high-quality, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code adhering to backend engineering best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-5+ years of experience in backend software development

• Strong practical knowledge in Python and Node.js

• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and managing RESTful APIs

• Solid understanding of API integration and backend service architecture

• Experience with structured content, document transformation, or data processing

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Candidate must be willing to work from 6pm-3am Monday-Friday

• Familiarity with XLIFF and localization workflows

• Knowledge of the Okapi Framework

• Experience with XML and related structured markup formats

• Exposure to content management or localization platforms

• Relevant certifications in backend development or localization technologies
