Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, conduct unit testing, and implement new features.

• Collaborate closely with globally distributed, cross-functional teams to deliver functionalities.

• Create unit tests and conduct code reviews.

• Partner with QA engineers to maintain high standards of code quality.

• Undertake a cross-functional Scrum role encompassing development, testing, QA support, and troubleshooting integration or production problems.

• Enhance and design Akamai's portal as a full-stack software engineer.

• Construct a platform that facilitates distributed development and accelerates product and feature launches.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 0 to 2 years of experience in Java programming.

• 0 to 2 years of experience with UI technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Understanding of general responsiveness concepts.

• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and databases.

• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and capable of thriving with minimal supervision.
