Software Engineer – Application Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance and configure the full-stack application across the EHR integration landscape to provide Bayesian's clinical insights to healthcare professionals.

• Collaborate with client EHR and clinical informatics teams to integrate clinical workflows.

• Develop and implement automated integration tests.

• Partner with client technical teams and frontline clinicians to troubleshoot and resolve integration testing challenges.

• Carry out production deployments in conjunction with the client's technical team.

• Ensure that application and workflow configurations and builds are successfully transitioned to production.

• Act as the primary technical contact for application integration challenges during the go-live period.

• Deliver clear status updates to cross-functional stakeholders.

• Create frameworks and tools using LLMs and automation to enhance platform integration efficiency and speed.

• Work alongside the Implementation Lead, Clinical Integration, and client technical teams to synchronize the integration workstream.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Over 3 years of experience in building and deploying full-stack applications in production environments.

• Proficiency in integrating external APIs.

• Experience with React and TypeScript is preferred.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud services in a production setting.

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL in production.

• Background in writing automated integration and end-to-end tests for production systems.

• Experience in managing production deployments.

• Proven experience in supporting systems through go-live as part of an on-call or support rotation.

• Skills in triaging production issues.

• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• Preferred: knowledge of SMART on FHIR applications, EHR integrations, HL7v2, and FHIR.

• Preferred: experience working with enterprise clients.

• Preferred: experience in developing internal tools or automation, including the use of LLMs.
