This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Implement, set up, and configure FabGuard monitoring systems across various tool groups.
• Offer on-site troubleshooting and technical assistance for FabGuard software, hardware, and data collection.
• Identify and resolve issues with Windows systems; handle PC installation, configuration, and cabling.
• Develop recipes and perform data analyses using FabGuard for Fault Detection and Classification (FDC).
• Provide training to customers on INFICON products while identifying areas for improvement and new applications.
• Deliver both written and verbal feedback regarding applications, process optimization, and installations.
• Set up and sustain data acquisition parameters between FabGuard and associated systems.
• Assist with integration projects that involve industrial protocols such as OPC-UA, SECS/GEM, and TCP/IP.
• Evaluate and validate software updates; resolve connectivity issues and data inconsistencies.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for customer teams across multiple fabs.
• Collaborate with process engineering and equipment teams on equipment readiness and logistics.
• Report site status and escalate risks to INFICON management in EMEA and the US.
• Contribute to regular updates on site status and suggest process enhancements.
• Train customers and contractor teams on FabGuard operations.
• Record site-specific configurations.
• Offer cross-coverage support to other field team members as required.
• Technical diploma or degree in electronics, automation, industrial systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, including installation, setup, and troubleshooting.
• In-depth understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and OEM equipment, such as lithography, PVD, and CVD technologies.
• Basic familiarity with the operation of vacuum pumps and abatement systems.
• Proven ability to test and validate software in industrial and manufacturing settings.
• Comfort in cleanroom environments and adherence to all cleanroom protocols.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to directly interact with customer stakeholders.
• Previous experience in semiconductor fabrication settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols (OPC-UA, SECS/GEM, Modbus TCP) is advantageous.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a bonus.
