Software Engineer, Android

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement features for Android applications, prioritizing optimal user experience.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to outline, create, and launch new features.

• Conduct testing and debugging of applications to ensure high code quality.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends within the mobile development landscape.

• Engage in planning and review sessions, offering technical insights and recommendations for enhancements.

• Partner with SoftDesign’s collaborators, receiving support from the Outsourcing Management team and participating in one-on-one meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in developing Android applications.

• Proficient in Java and Kotlin.

• Familiar with version control systems like Git.

• Skilled in working with RESTful APIs and service integration.

• Capable of creatively and efficiently solving problems.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience in developing iOS applications (preferred).

• Knowledge of agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban (preferred).

• Familiarity with automated testing and DevOps practices (preferred).

• Background in large-scale projects or high-demand environments (preferred).

• Completed or pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).

• Active participation in technology groups or tech communities (preferred).
