Mobile Developer, Android – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Create comprehensive end-to-end solutions

• Partner with other engineering teams to develop and sustain customer-centric products

• Design and implement the interactive elements of applications, such as screens, filters, and features that improve users’ search experiences

• Aim for software excellence by leveraging technical skills and experience with a proactive mindset

• Operate independently and responsibly to deliver highly reliable software that can manage substantial request volumes and drive business results

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mobile Developer utilizing Kotlin and Java

• Familiarity with design patterns such as Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM), Adapters, Singletons, and Dependency Injection

• Proficient with Retrofit

• Skilled in using Coroutines

• Experience with MongoDB and SQL databases

• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs

• Competence in MVVM/MVI, A/B testing, SDUI, and unit testing frameworks, including JUnit, Mockito, and MockK

• Experience with Jenkins

• Proficiency in Git, GitLab, and CI/CD practices

• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes

• Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana

• Experience with agile methodologies and practices, such as Scrum, Kanban, and pair programming

• Knowledge of SOLID principles

• Understanding of observability and monitoring techniques

• Familiarity with other mobile development stacks is advantageous

• Experience working on highly scalable projects that serve thousands of active users is a plus
