Senior Product Engineer – Android, Kotlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop the mobile application utilized by European businesses to oversee their financial operations.

• Take charge of essential product features from the stages of discovery and technical design to implementation, rollout, and iteration.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to formulate technical solutions.

• Navigate the trade-offs between UX, performance, security, and time-to-market.

• Enhance application architecture, performance, reliability, maintainability, and testing strategies.

• Contribute to real-time synchronization, resilience patterns, and seamless navigation.

• Lead code reviews and engage in technical discussions.

• Share best practices and provide mentorship to colleagues.

• Participate in a squad team with ownership of a specified product scope.

• Extensive experience with native Android development.

• Proven track record of shipping and maintaining features using Kotlin in production environments.

• Comfortable making technical decisions from start to finish.

• Experience in unit, UI, and snapshot testing practices.

• Adherence to clean code principles and pragmatic engineering standards.

• Skill in transforming complex constraints into straightforward, robust solutions.

• Regular use of AI coding tools.

• Proficient in English.

• Capability to contribute through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring others.
