Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and improve native Android SDKs utilizing Kotlin.

• Create Android components, libraries, and integrate APIs.

• Connect SDKs with payment APIs and backend services.

• Diagnose and resolve bugs and production challenges.

• Create unit and integration tests.

• Engage in code reviews, refactoring, and enhancing performance.

• Assist with SDK releases, version management, documentation, and sample applications.

• Provide support for Flutter and React Native components, wrappers, and native bridges.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools like Claude Code and Codex for development, debugging, testing, and documentation.

• Evaluate, test, and verify all AI-assisted code prior to delivery.

• Aid in merchant integrations and technical go-live processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of substantial experience in native Android development with Kotlin.

• Strong understanding of Android architecture, APIs, testing, debugging, and the application lifecycle.

• Capability to independently implement and troubleshoot assigned tasks.

• Experience in developing SDKs, reusable libraries, or frameworks is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Flutter and/or React Native is advantageous.

• Experience with Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI development tools is a plus.

• Background in payment, FinTech, or security-sensitive applications is desirable.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate directly with an international engineering team.
