Software Engineer – Agentic Search Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in a 25-minute conversational interview discussing production search systems and agentic search systems.

• Articulate various approaches to search quality, evaluation, impact measurement, and optimization of systems.

• Provide specific real-world experiences, anecdotes, and trade-offs from systems that have been implemented.

• Have the opportunity to take part in a paid 30-minute live discussion with the Mercor team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in deploying production search systems, particularly agentic search systems.

• Demonstrated ownership of relevance or retrieval for systems utilized by actual users.

• Ability to quantify the impact and improvements made to search systems.

• Experience in developing systems associated with agentic search.

• Skilled in scaling data infrastructure for contemporary search systems.

• Capability to discuss search quality, evaluation, and trade-offs derived from real-world systems.

• Completion of a 25-minute conversational interview is mandatory.

• LinkedIn URL is necessary for the application, unless the applicant lacks a LinkedIn profile.
