This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develops and enhances the unified SDK's web components.
• Guarantees secure capture, validation, and transmission of data obtained from images, documents, and sensors.
• Implements sophisticated protective measures against digital fraud, content injection, session tampering, malicious automation, and untrusted environments.
• Creates and maintains essential web components utilizing JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Designs solutions for identifying headless browsers, virtualized environments, emulators, and digital fraud tools.
• Ensures secure communication among web components, native SDKs, and backend services.
• Implements integrity controls and validation mechanisms for the data captured.
• Develops telemetry, metrics, logs, and observability mechanisms.
• Conducts performance analysis and optimization across various browsers and devices.
• Engages in defining architecture, development standards, and client-side security strategies.
• Performs code reviews and offers technical support to development teams.
• Investigates vulnerabilities and contributes to the advancement of fraud and abuse prevention mechanisms.
• Collaborates with Architecture, Information Security, Platform Engineering, and Product teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong experience in developing web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Advanced understanding of the architecture and operations of modern browsers.
• Experience with contemporary front-end frameworks, including React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of web application security concepts, such as OWASP Top 10, CSP, CORS, XSS, CSRF, and secure authentication.
• Experience with WebAuthn, device fingerprinting, and client-side protection strategies.
• Familiarity with browser automation, virtualized environments, emulators, and detection of scraping tools.
• Experience in integrating web applications with native mobile or desktop SDKs.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, secure communication protocols, and applied cryptography.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and log analysis tools.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience in digital identity, biometrics, or fraud prevention products.
• Knowledge of WebAssembly (WASM).
• Experience in behavioral analysis and device intelligence.
• Understanding of anti-tampering, anti-debugging, and client-side code protection techniques.
• Experience in high-scale environments and applications with stringent security requirements.
• Knowledge of document capture, liveness detection, or digital onboarding solutions.
• Experience with cross-platform SDK architecture.
• Strong analytical and complex problem-solving abilities.
