Software Development Manager – Clinic Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of developers, providing guidance on both technical and professional skills.

• Collaborate with product and design teams from initial discussions to grasp use cases, define scope, and identify necessary data.

• Drive the development of new products from vague concepts and prototypes to fully launched features.

• Offer technical leadership during architecture reviews and assist in making scalable technical decisions.

• Manage team delivery, set priorities, and maintain momentum.

• Support the team in balancing experimentation and speed with quality and accuracy.

• Advocate for practical and responsible adoption of AI in clinic-facing applications and team workflows.

• Oversee the creation of tools for clinic websites, AI-driven website generation, and marketing analytics.

• Work with products that support clinics in managing their operations, caring for patients, and expanding their communities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience as a hands-on software developer, followed by a role leading a development team as a people manager.

• Strong technical expertise.

• Proficient in reviewing architecture, evaluating trade-offs, and guiding technical direction alongside senior and staff developers.

• Demonstrated experience in taking at least one product from inception to launch.

• Comfortable with rapid iteration and navigating ambiguity while building new solutions.

• Highly collaborative and adept at working closely with product and design teams.

• Passionate about coaching, with proven examples of helping team members develop their skills.

• Composed under pressure, takes ownership, and drives projects to completion.

• Familiarity with AI tools, either personally or as part of a team.

• Possesses a curious and practical perspective on where AI can deliver genuine value.

• Experience with marketing tools, website builders, or analytics products is a bonus, though not mandatory.

• Must currently reside in Canada.

• Must have the legal right to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
