Engineering Manager – Secure Access

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of Software and Platform Engineers responsible for the Secure Access application throughout its lifecycle.

• Oversee integration with both on-premises and cloud environments.

• Establish technical direction.

• Manage priorities and ensure timely delivery.

• Mentor engineers across software and platform disciplines.

• Maintain a balance between reliability for existing customers and the delivery of new features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum of three years of direct engineering management experience.

• At least five years of hands-on experience in platform, infrastructure, or software engineering.

• Experience managing virtualized on-premises infrastructure, particularly with VMware vSphere/ESXi.

• Familiarity with VDI or remote-access infrastructure.

• Experience in deploying and operating workloads on a major cloud platform, preferably GCP.

• Working knowledge of Linux administration, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to translate product vision into actionable engineering tasks.

• Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.

• Nice to have: Experience with networking technologies, including VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and DNS.

• Nice to have: Experience extending or migrating on-premises workloads to GCP.

• Nice to have: Proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

• Nice to have: Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments, including FedRAMP, CMMC, or SOC 2.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of identity and access management protocols, including SSO, OIDC, and SAML.
