Software Development Engineer IV – Appian Developer

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and maintain enterprise workflow automation solutions utilizing Appian, Microsoft technologies, and associated automation platforms.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders to convert business needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Oversee intricate business process automation projects, including case management, workflow orchestration, document processing, and system integrations.

• Design and uphold integrations with both internal and external systems employing RESTful APIs, web services, and event-driven architectures.

• Utilize Appian AI capabilities and intelligent automation for tasks such as classification, extraction, summarization, routing, and decision support.

• Offer technical leadership and engineering direction to developers across various projects and initiatives.

• Enhance operational excellence by conducting code reviews, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and providing production support.

• Advocate for engineering best practices, reusable components, and governance standards for the platform.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to refine business processes and enhance customer experiences.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing innovative concepts to the team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (mandatory).

• A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience (mandatory).

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages.

• Appian experience is strongly preferred.

• Expertise in business process automation solutions is preferred.

• Exposure to RESTful APIs and the creation of integration services is preferred.

• Strong communication skills to effectively represent the team to other teams or leadership.

• Ability to adapt to new technologies based on business requirements.

• Experience in an Agile work environment.

• Background in the healthcare industry or a highly regulated environment is advantageous.
