This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Engage in all stages of the application lifecycle.

• Utilize established design patterns and open-source tools.

• Remain informed about the latest technology trends.

• Collaborate as part of an agile team.

• Assist throughout the product lifecycle, encompassing systems engineering, requirements analysis, technical design, system integration, implementation, and deployment.

• Develop software that extracts information from the Dark Web and end-to-end encrypted applications like Telegram.

• Enhance tools that allow analysts to query collected data and securely access live Dark Web environments virtually.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in contemporary software development languages such as Python, JavaScript, GoLang, and/or others, as part of a development team leveraging remote computing via proxies.

• Familiarity with GitHub for task management, branching development, pull requests, etc.

• Experience in modern web application development, including JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, or React.

• Strong debugging and runtime capabilities.

• Currently enrolled full-time in an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Doctorate program in Computer Science, Software Development/Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any point in the future.

• Preferred: Experience with Linux.

• Preferred: Familiarity with ElasticSearch.

• Preferred: Experience with Amazon Web Services.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Secure Shell (SSH) and remote computing.

• Preferred: Experience with web scraping techniques.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Tor Network routing.
