This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and maintain software systems, integrations, and automation solutions at Mission Telecom.
• Take on primary engineering responsibility for Mission Connect following its initial production release.
• Design, create, test, sustain, and support applications utilizing C#, .NET 10, ASP.NET Core, Blazor Server, Radzen, and associated technologies.
• Construct interfaces for staff and customers, application services, business logic, background processing, and data-access capabilities.
• Collaborate with the CTO and business stakeholders on priorities, technical choices, and release planning.
• Convert operational requirements into automated workflows for grantmaking, marketing, lead management, sales, billing, payments, fulfillment, customer service, reporting, and other processes.
• Develop and resolve secure integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, file-based exchanges, and other integration methods.
• Support integrations across CRM, marketing, advertising, analytics, accounting, payments, communications, and telecom platforms.
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases, relational data models, SQL queries, migrations, and data-access functionalities.
• Facilitate financial and operational workflows related to orders, invoices, payments, taxes, adjustments, refunds, provisioning, and customer accounts.
• Develop authentication, authorization, role-based access controls, and capabilities for Microsoft Entra ID.
• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and support applications and services within the Microsoft Azure environment.
• Build and sustain CI/CD processes using GitHub and GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Manage application monitoring, incident investigation, recovery procedures, and root-cause analysis.
• Create and uphold unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests using Playwright or equivalent tools.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Utilize and assess AI-assisted development tools while independently validating the generated code.
• Transition Mission Connect to stable production support with dependable integrations, auditable financial workflows, automated test coverage, and documented critical workflows.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience, or equivalent demonstrated expertise in building and supporting complex production business applications.
• Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and contemporary full-stack web application development.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and supporting REST APIs and integrations with third-party business systems.
• Proficiency in SQL, relational database design, data modeling, indexes, keys, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.
• Experience in building and supporting mission-critical transactional or operational applications where data accuracy, reliability, and auditability are essential.
• Ability to translate business processes and requirements into dependable software solutions and independently manage delivery through release and support.
• Knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, identity management, and secure development practices.
• Experience in deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting cloud-hosted applications and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Capacity to use AI-assisted development tools productively while independently understanding, reviewing, troubleshooting, and authoring production code.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Candidates must have work authorization that does not currently or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States.
