Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, enhance, and stabilize intricate technical business solutions for clients utilizing the Managed Services platform.

• Collaborate with COE Senior Software Developers and leadership to fulfill deliverables for the Managed Services Integration project.

• Evaluate and authorize client requirements and design documentation alongside Senior Software Developers, Architects, Solution Consultants, and Project Managers.

• Work with Solution Consultants and Global Architecture to convert new sales initiatives into actionable solutions with confirmed project timelines.

• Consult, review, and endorse SDD documents and Readiness Review materials.

• Ensure the quality of deliverables aligns with SLO and JIRA quality benchmarks.

• Manage expectations of Project Managers and clients regarding technical deliverables.

• Act as a representative for the Software team in the Change Management process.

• Advocate for AI-driven solutions, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives within Cloud Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong critical thinking skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Expertise in AI tools, design, and delivery methodologies.

• Capability to coach and mentor seasoned technical professionals.

• Over 1 year of experience in OpenText Cloud Services as an Assistant Software Developer, with at least 2 years of support for BN TG customers.

• More than 3 years of experience in systems analysis, design, systems integration, and development.

• Familiarity with Unix/Linux and scripting languages (Expect, Perl, and Shell) is advantageous.

• Experience with open communication standards such as FTP, web services/HTTPS, AS2, and SFTP protocols.

• API experience is preferred but not mandatory.
