This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assume responsibility for the roadmap and backlog of designated SaaS applications and/or ITAM technologies.
• Continuously enhance operations through automation, standardizing processes, and implementing effective governance.
• Strike a balance between compliance requirements and business productivity.
• Act as the primary communication liaison between business stakeholders and engineering/support teams.
• Establish metrics for success related to application adoption, cost efficiency, and risk management.
• Evaluate and review proposed SaaS solutions prior to implementation, taking into account security, technical compatibility, integration needs, and administrative effort.
• Deliver hands-on technical administration for enterprise-approved SaaS applications.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, reliable, and managed efficiently.
• Implement and manage SSO, conditional access, MFA, administrative roles, SaaS security controls, automated provisioning/deprovisioning, role assignment, license assignment, and access review workflows.
• Support least-privilege security practices for users, administrators, service accounts, service principals, secrets, and API permissions.
• Oversee and automate joiner, mover, and leaver processes.
• Utilize AI, APIs, scripting, low-code platforms, and other automation technologies to minimize repetitive administrative tasks.
• Develop and uphold standards for application administration, administrative ownership, access review frequency, and secure system configurations.
• Provide advanced escalation support for application and access issues beyond Tier 1 and Tier 2 support levels.
• Manage assigned SaaS applications throughout their lifecycle, including onboarding, active management, renewal, and retirement.
• Analyze license usage, user activity, and expenditures to pinpoint underutilized software, license reclamation opportunities, licensing model changes, and vendor contract adjustments.
• Collaborate with Finance and Procurement to prepare for renewals using historical usage data and anticipated future demand.
• Maintain precise SaaS inventory records for applications, license entitlements, users, administrators, and integrations.
• Enhance visibility into SaaS spending, utilization, and associated risks.
• Facilitate internal and external audits by validating license compliance and conducting periodic user access reviews.
• Administer governance activities in line with established ITAM standards.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in SaaS application administration or IT Asset Management, showcasing hands-on technical expertise.
• At least 3 years of experience in configuring, integrating, securing, and managing enterprise SaaS applications, including SSO, API connectivity, and application administration consoles.
• Strong knowledge of major software licensing models, such as named-user, concurrent, consumption-based, and enterprise agreements.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the capability to synthesize utilization, entitlement, and spending data into actionable business insights.
• Experience in maintaining dependable configuration and inventory data across various systems and utilizing data analysis or system queries to identify inconsistencies.
• Proven ability and initiative in leveraging emerging technologies, particularly AI and automation solutions, to enhance operations and decision-making.
• Preferred: Familiarity with ITAM/SAM solutions and CMDB or application inventory technologies.
• Preferred: Experience with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Entra ID / Azure AD, or similar identity technologies.
• Preferred: Understanding of service principals, APIs and their permissions, Graph-style access models, SaaS security controls, and vendor administration portals.
• Preferred: Experience in automating processes using APIs, scripting, Power Platform, or equivalent tools.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
• Preferred: Experience in creating dashboards or reports using Excel and/or BI technologies and effectively presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred: Proven ability to navigate across technical engineering, governance, and financial/cost optimization functions.
• Preferred: Practical experience supporting SOX, ITGC, or access review activities.
• Preferred: Professional certifications related to ITAM, SAM, IT service management, or procurement, including IAITAM, ITIL, or equivalent certifications.
