Software Architect, Nuclear

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the current control system product, including its features and architecture.

• Attain mastery over the comprehensive solution for a nuclear instrumentation and control system.

• Offer expertise and support concerning the reliability and strength of the system architecture for EPR2.

• Perform technical analyses to ensure system qualification.

• Suggest evolutionary solutions for EPR and SMR reactors, considering technological advancements and regulatory changes.

• Engage with the R&D community by sharing insights and collaborating on innovations in the nuclear field.

• Prepare responses to requests for proposals, recommend technical solutions, and create customer presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.

• A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in designing and implementing intricate architectures, ideally in real-time systems.

• Proficiency in complex and real-time architectures.

• Comprehensive knowledge of instrumentation and control systems within the nuclear industry.

• Extensive technical expertise in computer architecture, operating systems, networks, multitasking applications, and industrial automation.

• Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities, with a knack for innovation.

• A methodical and diligent approach to troubleshooting and suggesting enhancements.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Capability to communicate clearly and persuasively, presenting complex concepts in an understandable manner.

• A keen interest in the energy sector and a passion for tackling technical challenges.
