This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Embrace a child or young individual by welcoming them into your home.

• Deliver care as a social-educational foster-care placement (§34 SGB VIII) or as an educational placement (§33.2 SGB VIII).

• Offer educational assistance to the child or young person as they navigate life's challenges and celebrate positive experiences.

• Collaborate with the organization to develop all necessary steps leading to the placement of a child or young individual.

• Engage in a personal consultation to evaluate the suitability of this role for you and your household.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background as an educational professional, such as an educator, social worker, or social pedagogue.

• Relevant educational qualifications or comparable professional qualifications.

• Non-specialists with pertinent prior experience and additional training pursuant to §33.2 SGB VIII may be considered for a career change.

• Readiness to welcome and care for a child or young person in your home.

• Educational expertise, patience, and a good sense of humor are essential.
