This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Identify content themes and perspectives that engage IT administrators and managed service providers.
• Create, format, and publish original organic content for LinkedIn.
• Implement LinkedIn organic best practices to enhance reach and engagement without the use of paid promotion.
• Monitor and respond to comments, mentions, and direct messages actively.
• Uphold a consistent publishing schedule.
• Engage regularly in relevant subreddits.
• Adhere to subreddit regulations regarding self-promotion and vendor participation.
• Contribute valuable and meaningful responses in community discussions.
• Draft and publish posts on Reddit and manage the ensuing conversations.
• Edit short-form videos using existing footage and screen recordings.
• Incorporate captions and prepare videos according to platform specifications.
• Monitor channel performance, maintain records, report outcomes, and leverage insights to enhance future content.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing and the wider marketing team in a weekly rhythm of planning, creation, publishing, and reporting.
• Work in regular blocks throughout all five weekdays, ensuring hours are not condensed into fewer days.
• Proven experience in growing a social media account or online community organically.
• Practical knowledge of LinkedIn organic content strategies.
• Understanding of Reddit communities and the expectations for brands involved in technical discussions.
• Basic video-editing capabilities, including cutting footage, adding captions, and exporting short-form videos.
• Proficiency in tracking performance data, maintaining consistent records, and clearly communicating results.
• Strong attention to detail, including proofreading and formatting skills.
• Dependable ownership of deadlines and proactive communication when timelines may be jeopardized.
• Clear and concise writing abilities without unnecessary filler.
• Candidates must reside in Ontario.
• Product training will be provided; prior knowledge of CiraSync or Microsoft 365 administration is not necessary.
