Social & Content Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish the strategic vision and implement MERGE’s corporate social strategy, primarily focusing on LinkedIn and Instagram.

• Create content calendars, templates, and reusable formats that align with agency goals, client announcements, events, and thought leadership initiatives.

• Craft captions and content that embody a cohesive and distinctly human voice representative of MERGE.

• Develop and publish platform-specific content, including writing, designing, and editing directly within the platforms.

• Collaborate with creative and design teams on video projects, campaigns, and brand moments.

• Monitor trends, formats, and cultural moments, adapting relevant ones for MERGE.

• Engage with followers, oversee conversations, and nurture the brand community.

• Lead and expand MERGE’s Employee Advocacy Program.

• Work alongside practice areas, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and Public Relations to identify and align stories and cultural moments.

• Manage social media platforms, scheduling tools, vendors, renewals, and the adoption of new features.

• Analyze channel performance, report findings to leadership, and refine content based on data insights.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience managing corporate or agency social media, preferably in B2B, with a portfolio demonstrating content and community growth.

• A culture-oriented perspective and proficiency in platform-specific formats on LinkedIn and Instagram.

• Excellent B2B and social-focused copywriting abilities.

• Proficient in Adobe for creating and editing social media assets.

• Familiarity with scheduling and social management tools.

• Knowledgeable about AI and LLM tools.

• Resourceful, autonomous, and self-motivated; capable of managing projects from start to finish while balancing multiple priorities.

• Experience in community and advocacy; prior management of advocacy programs or brand communities is advantageous.

• Comfortable working with analytics and translating performance data into enhanced content.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent practical experience.

• Authorized to work in the US without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
