This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead, recruit, onboard, and nurture the Content Manager team
β’ Establish operating rhythms, conduct roadmap reviews, quarterly business evaluations, coverage-parity presentations, and one-on-ones
β’ Define the role hierarchy and performance benchmarks for Content Managers
β’ Create a Content Manager community and oversee succession planning and continuity
β’ Manage Clio's global legal content portfolio and long-term content strategy
β’ Allocate budget, headcount, licensing expenditures, and partner-team resources across jurisdictions
β’ Ensure competitiveness in global coverage against AI-native competitors, legal publishers, and regional incumbents
β’ Set market-ready benchmarks, make launch readiness determinations, and evaluate jurisdiction investment trade-offs
β’ Oversee build/buy/license decisions in collaboration with Secondary Content, Licensing, and Corporate Development
β’ Govern content presentation across Clio Library, Clio Work, and Vincent
β’ Establish a global framework for Vincent's research skills, source tiers, evidence requirements, evaluation methodologies, benchmark inquiries, and quality standards
β’ Identify research-quality issues and drive corrective actions with the responsible teams
β’ Oversee global metadata and structural standards, acceptance criteria, quality thresholds, citator requirements, freshness, reliability, data integrity, enrichment, and resilience criteria
β’ Collaborate with Product on roadmap implementation, content strategies, feasibility assessments, readiness checkpoints, and portfolio priorities
β’ Aggregate Content Manager requests into a prioritized demand queue for Data Ops and Content Engineering
β’ Represent Collections in planning cycles and secure capacity for pipeline, parser, and citator projects
β’ Provide Data Ops with insights into volume, sources, launches, throughput, backlog, and cost per document
β’ Assist with enterprise pursuits, RFPs, renewals, customer escalations, and executive presentations
β’ Manage investment cases, portfolio dashboards, competitive intelligence, and strategic upstream partnerships
β’ Transform collection differentiation into product positioning and support
β’ Over 10 years of experience in legal publishing, legal data, or content/product leadership
β’ More than 3 years of experience managing managers or senior individual contributors
β’ Proven track record of owning a multi-market or multi-product content portfolio with real budget authority and measurable ROI
β’ Demonstrated success in achieving results through partner teams they do not directly manage, ideally as the demand-side leader opposite an operations group and an engineering group
β’ In-depth working knowledge of at least one major legal system
β’ Direct experience with legal research products
β’ Genuine multi-jurisdiction experience is highly preferred
β’ Experience implementing AI-assisted or AI-native content workflows in production
β’ Credibility with enterprise buyers, global firms, and analysts
β’ Ability to represent a portfolio rather than just a single product or market
