This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Comprehend customer requirements and deliver small business banking sales and services to BMO clients or potential clients.
• Provide guidance to customers on small business banking strategies and offerings, including credit card solutions.
• Execute sales and service tasks in line with established protocols.
• Recognize and refer clients to other relevant business divisions as necessary.
• Address customer inquiries in a knowledgeable, professional, and efficient manner.
• Explore to understand customer requirements and offer insights on small business banking and credit card strategies.
• Oversee the transactional outcomes of customer interactions or refer to suitable internal business units.
• Elevate complex or unresolved customer issues to senior management.
• Ensure accurate processing of customer requests through proper documentation.
• Stay updated on personal banking and credit card industry trends, practices, and developments.
• Incorporate marketing initiatives and programs into customer discussions when appropriate.
• Uphold the confidentiality of customer and bank information.
• Detect and report suspicious activity patterns associated with money laundering.
• Complete a variety of complex tasks within established rules and limits, including managing escalations from fellow employees.
• Assess issues and determine subsequent actions.
• Implement BMO's Risk Management Framework and make decisions informed by risk, aligned with business strategy, policies, laws, and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with small business and credit card products.
• Term Investment Qualification (as necessary).
• Specialized knowledge is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective collaboration and teamwork capabilities.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates must be available and adaptable to work from Monday to Sunday, between 8 am and 9 pm.
• Compliance with regulatory and compliance obligations, including Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing reporting standards, FCAC consumer provision requirements, and Privacy Act regulations is mandatory.
