
Skilled Trades Recruiting Team Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters focused on skilled trades hiring for various clients.
• Establish clear expectations, monitor performance, provide constructive feedback, and ensure improvements are made.
• Take charge of the team's recruiting performance and analyze the reasons for any delays in hiring outcomes.
• Translate the Client Success Manager’s client and job-level strategy into recruiting priorities, actions, and standards.
• Ensure that recruiters are well-informed about hiring priorities, criteria for qualified candidates, sourcing strategies, obstacles, next steps, and measures of success.
• Maintain oversight of recruiting pipelines and identify candidates who are stalled, weak candidate flow, delayed follow-up, poor conversion rates, and inconsistent pipeline management.
• Ensure that recruiters expedite the candidate process and keep system information accurate.
• Safeguard candidate quality by assessing experience, qualifications, communication skills, motivation, compensation expectations, availability, and cultural fit.
• Establish consistent recruiting standards throughout the team.
• Collaborate with Client Success, recruiting operations, sourcing, support, and leadership to eliminate hiring obstacles and enhance results.
• Report directly to the Client Success Manager and work together on client and job-level recruiting strategy.
• Leverage pipeline data, candidate interactions, market trends, and client feedback to inform recruiting decisions.
• Identify performance issues early, suggest modifications, and guide the team through corrective actions.
• A minimum of three years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
• Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, screening, candidate evaluation, pipeline management, and hiring processes.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, or leading recruiters is highly preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze recruiting metrics and identify performance issues.
• Capability to lead a remote team while maintaining accountability.
• Proficient in working closely with a CSM to implement established client and job-level strategies.
• Strong organizational skills and follow-through across multiple clients and job openings.
• Reliable internet connection with a contingency plan for power or internet disruptions.
• Preferred experience in recruiting for skilled trades, construction, home services, or other blue-collar roles.
• Preferred experience managing recruitment across multiple clients, locations, or job openings.
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Recruitee, Slack, and Google Workspace is strongly preferred.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance recruiting execution and team productivity is strongly preferred.
• Experience in using recruiting metrics and pipeline data for performance coaching is strongly preferred.
• Preferred experience in a fast-paced, high-accountability work environment.
