This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Accurately and safely diagnose, repair, and/or assemble Caterpillar mining and earthmoving machinery.
• Ensure tasks are completed promptly while upholding high-quality standards.
• Engage in safe, environmentally responsible, and healthy work practices.
• Utilize Caterpillar testing equipment to identify mechanical issues.
• Repair and/or assemble allied or competitive Caterpillar earthmoving machinery within set timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Generate precise and timely service reports and documentation.
• Act as an integral member of the onsite mechanical team.
• Foster positive customer relations.
• Adhere to company and client health and safety policies and procedures.
• Post-secondary education in heavy equipment mechanics, heavy vehicle mechanics, or heavy engine mechanics.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience post-apprenticeship as a Technician in the repair and servicing of heavy construction and/or heavy mining equipment.
• Possession of a provincial red seal license.
• Willingness to work 14-day rotational schedules.
