Site Selection Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Build and sustain positive and productive relationships with key clinical research sites.

• Locate investigators and research sites to enhance the investigator database through literature reviews and online searches.

• Gather information to delineate ideal investigators for studies.

• Identify and propose potential investigators for studies.

• Design interest survey assessments for studies.

• Create and manage the distribution of study-specific feasibility questionnaires.

• Evaluate completed feasibility questionnaires and recommend sites for qualification visits.

• Coordinate CRA resource allocation for site qualification visits.

• Review summaries of site qualification visits.

• Recommend sites for study participation in collaboration with the Sponsor and project team.

• Monitor site selection activities within the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).

• Attend both internal and external project team meetings as required.

• Identify site performance quality issues through project meetings, escalated site communications, and quality assurance audit findings.

• Engage in internal departmental projects related to site selection, contracting, and site intelligence.

• Assist the Manager, Site Selection in grasping project goals, scope, and requirements while delivering high-quality outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or a related field.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French is advantageous.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical research within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO sectors.

• Extensive and relevant experience in site selection, study start-up activities, site budget/contract negotiations, and/or working closely with sites or in a site environment.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience in dermatological clinical research is a plus.

• Sound knowledge of good clinical practices and relevant Health Canada and FDA regulations/guidelines.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and cultivate strong relationships with colleagues, sponsors, and sites.

• Well-organized, capable of managing competing priorities, and thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Adaptability, a positive attitude, exceptional attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities.

• Quick learner with good adaptability and versatility.

• Must have legal eligibility to work in Romania.
