Site Safety Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enforce OSHA regulations and the company's safety equipment and clothing standards.

• Ensure that team members on project sites adhere to company safety protocols.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records.

• Keep work areas organized, safe, and tidy.

• Investigate incidents and prepare necessary reports.

• Assist the Site Manager with administrative actions for team members and subcontractors who fail to comply.

• Conduct safety meetings and jobsite reviews as part of coordination gatherings.

• Lead daily safety meetings.

• Facilitate orientation and training specific to jobsite safety.

• Communicate, implement, and enforce Gray’s safety program at the site.

• Indirectly oversee the safety personnel of subcontractors.

• Travel to project locations as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• OSHA 30 Hour certification.

• Experience within an industrial construction environment is highly desirable.

• Proven understanding of safety and environmental principles and practices.

• Basic computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office suite applications.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Energetic and self-motivated individual with a drive for collaboration and professional growth.

• Must be eligible to work without the need for visa sponsorship.

• Must reside anywhere in the USA and be willing to travel to project sites across the United States and, in some instances, overseas.

• Capability to meet physical demands, which include frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 25 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.

• Ability to work in various conditions such as wet, humid, outdoor, mechanical, high-altitude, extreme temperature, electrical, explosive, vibration, and moderate-to-loud-noise environments.

• Availability for overtime may be required.
