Site Civil Engineer, PE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and design site layout plans that meet client specifications and adhere to Woolpert standards.

• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create concept plans, grading plans, and overall site designs.

• Offer technical assistance and take the lead on site/civil design, hydrology/hydraulics, erosion and sediment control, as well as stormwater management.

• Manage the permitting process in collaboration with counties and local municipalities.

• Prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

• Collaborate with project management to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.

• Conduct pavement evaluations and compile relevant data and reports.

• Engage in occasional fieldwork, with frequent local travel and overnight trips as necessary.

• Mentor and guide junior staff members.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is necessary.

• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.

• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D is essential.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, Storm and Sanitary Analysis, PondPack, and Microsoft Suite products is expected.

• Experience in Hydraulics and Hydrology is preferred.

• Must be capable of responding effectively to sensitive inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, and/or business community members.

• Strong ability to organize and manage multiple tasks is required.

• Excellent client service skills are essential.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail, and analytical abilities are necessary.

• Capability to work both independently and in a team setting is critical.

• Applicants must already have work authorization in the country where the job is located; visa sponsorship is not available.
