This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Become a part of AECOM’s Transportation Department located in Greenville, South Carolina.

• Create engineering solutions from the initial concept stage through detailed design and construction phases.

• Generate site civil engineering plans for various projects, including commercial, industrial, utility, and infrastructure developments.

• Execute site layout, grading design, utility coordination, access and circulation planning, as well as erosion control design.

• Develop permit and construction documents, leading to Issued-for-Construction plans and providing construction support.

• Offer specialized technical insights for studies and design processes.

• Formulate study and design methodologies.

• Engage in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.

• Create construction cost estimates and technical effort estimations.

• Complete discipline components of PS&E packages.

• Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.

• Draft technical specification sections.

• Occasionally travel to sites or the office, estimated at around 5% of the time.

• Contribute to engineering budgets and schedules.

• Mentor and lead junior engineers and technicians.

• Work alongside project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.

• Perform site visits and execute field investigations.

• Create innovative solutions to intricate engineering challenges.

• Guarantee adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.

• Represent the organization during client meetings and professional conferences.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree along with 6 years of relevant experience or a proven equivalency of experience and/or education.

• Possession of a U.S. Professional Engineering License (PE).

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Proficient in Civil 3D AutoCAD modeling.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.

• Experience in site civil and/or transportation design is essential.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to the office or work sites.

• Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not currently available and will not be offered in the future.
