This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Create and uphold Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), test plans, and test procedures that comply with DoD Instruction 5000.89 and relevant Service-specific T&E policies.
• Develop test scenarios and mission threads for developmental, operational, and integrated test events.
• Utilize Design of Experiments methodologies to enhance test matrices, reduce resource use, and increase statistical power and confidence.
• Organize and conduct Live Virtual Constructive exercises that incorporate live assets, virtual simulators, and constructive models.
• Collaborate with Operational Test Agencies, Program Management Offices, DOT&E, and other governmental stakeholders.
• Evaluate test data utilizing statistical software such as JMP, R, and Minitab.
• Compose test reports, quick-look reports, and independent evaluation reports.
• Assist in requirements traceability, verification, and validation efforts linking test outcomes to KPPs and KSAs.
• Engage in Test Working Groups, Integrated Product Teams, and Test Readiness Reviews.
• Recognize and address risks associated with test range, instrumentation, and modeling and simulation accreditation.
• Ensure adherence to safety, security, and data management standards.
• Formulate test plans, strategies, and cases for cloud infrastructure, containerized applications, and classified systems.
• Take part in requirements gathering for live virtual constructive exercise scenarios.
• Establish test scopes, objectives, acceptance criteria, and success metrics in alignment with functional, security, and compliance requirements.
• Confirm that test plans are compatible with system components, infrastructure, applications, configurations, and security measures.
• Must be a US Citizen with a Top Secret security clearance and SCI eligibility.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Statistics, Physics, or a related technical field is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in DoD test and evaluation, systems engineering, or a similar acquisition role.
• Proven experience in developing test scenarios and mission threads for military systems.
• A working understanding of Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and their application to test planning is necessary.
• Experience with the design, execution, or analysis of Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) exercises is required.
• Familiarity with DoD T&E policy, including DoDI 5000.89, DOT&E guidance, and Service-specific T&E regulations is essential.
• Strong technical writing abilities, with experience in producing TEMPs, test plans, and evaluation reports.
• Preference for familiarity with modeling & simulation (M&S) accreditation processes (VV&A).
• Experience working directly with an Operational Test Agency or DOT&E is preferred.
• Knowledge of test range instrumentation, telemetry, and data collection systems is advantageous.
• Certifications such as DAWIA Test and Evaluation certification, INCOSE CSEP, or ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer are preferred.
• Recent test experience with the US Space Force is highly desired.
• Experience in supporting cybersecurity T&E or interoperability testing is beneficial.
