Shopify, WordPress Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Personalize and manage Shopify themes, chiefly utilizing themes from the Shopify Theme Store, with a preference for Enterprise or Impact themes.

• Create custom Shopify themes as required.

• Engage in WordPress, PHP, and Laravel projects when opportunities arise.

• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely project completion while exceeding client expectations.

• Communicate effectively and clearly with team members in English.

• Integrate third-party applications and APIs into Shopify sites.

• Enhance website performance, loading speeds, and user experience across various devices.

• Develop websites in accordance with SEO best practices.

• Quickly troubleshoot and resolve website-related issues.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

• Work alongside designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams.

• Foster a supportive and positive team atmosphere.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Shopify development, including theme customization and tailored solutions.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid programming languages.

• Familiarity with PHP and Laravel frameworks.

• Experience in WordPress development is advantageous.

• Exceptional English communication abilities.

• Availability to work during West Coast hours: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Pacific Time / 12:00 AM–9:00 AM Philippine Time.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Knowledge of Git or similar version control systems.

• Understanding of SEO concepts and best practices.

• Proficiency in integrating third-party services and APIs.

• Capability in creating responsive and mobile-friendly designs.
