This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +5 more countries.
• Develop landing pages, new sections, business components, and integrations with external APIs, including ERP, payment methods, logistics, CRM, analytics, and webhooks.
• Evolve and maintain existing themes and code using Liquid, JavaScript, Shopify APIs, and Shopify Functions.
• Optimize site performance, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and the security of code and integrations.
• Manage the code lifecycle using Git, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and deployments across Dev, Staging, and Production environments.
• Diagnose, address, and independently resolve critical production incidents, including checkout errors, outages, payments, stock, and promotions.
• Analyze logs and traceability to identify root causes and implement definitive solutions.
• Provide support and availability to ensure operational continuity and high availability of the e-commerce platform.
• Collaborate with Ecommerce, Marketing, Commercial, and IT teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize the existing Shopify storefront to ensure its scalability.
• Over 5 years of experience in web development, with a proven track record in developing and maintaining e-commerce platforms on Shopify.
• Experience working on existing storefronts, implemented architectures, and high-traffic production sites.
• Advanced proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and Shopify CLI.
• Solid experience working with Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL), Shopify Functions, Webhooks, and the Apps ecosystem.
• Practical experience in integrating external systems (ERP, Payment Gateways, Logistics, CRM) and handling APIs.
• Strong command of Git, teamwork workflows (pull requests, code reviews), and development environment management.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills, performance diagnosis, and the ability to independently resolve complex issues without constant supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and a results-oriented profile under pressure during operational incidents.
• Must be located in Latin America.
• Previous backend experience with Node.js and service architecture (a plus).
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (a plus).
• Experience in high-traffic e-commerce where operational continuity is critically important (a plus).
