Shopify Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, customize, and manage Shopify websites and storefronts

• Develop and modify custom Shopify themes utilizing Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Convert Figma or other design files into responsive, pixel-perfect web pages

• Create and personalize Shopify sections, templates, blocks, and reusable components

• Set up products, collections, navigation, metafields, and other Shopify CMS content

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Shopify applications and third-party integrations

• Enhance website speed, mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and overall performance

• Detect and fix front-end, theme, and CMS-related issues

• Implement landing pages and website updates for marketing and eCommerce initiatives

• Ensure that websites adhere to SEO and technical best practices

• Test modifications across various browsers, devices, and screen sizes prior to launch

• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and internal stakeholders to enhance website performance

• Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience as a Shopify Developer, CMS Developer, Front-End Developer, or eCommerce Developer

• Strong practical experience with Shopify and Shopify theme development

• Proficiency in Shopify Liquid

• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

• Experience in creating responsive and mobile-first websites

• Capability to customize existing Shopify themes beyond basic page-builder functionality

• Experience with Shopify applications, APIs, and third-party integrations

• Knowledge of website performance optimization and technical SEO

• Experience in translating designs from Figma into operational web pages

• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, precise implementations

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting while managing multiple priorities

• Experience with Shopify Plus

• Familiarity with Shopify Functions, Storefront API, or custom app integrations

• Experience with Git and version control systems

• Knowledge of CRO and best practices for eCommerce conversion

• Experience collaborating with international eCommerce brands or digital agencies

• Familiarity with other CMS platforms like WordPress or Webflow
