Shipping Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Manage and organize shipments to guarantee the accurate and timely delivery of products to customers.

• Prepare and handle all shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.

• Monitor shipments through shipping management systems, providing customers with updates and tracking information.

• Liaise with shipping carriers and vendors to coordinate pickups, address delivery issues, and negotiate shipping rates.

• Keep precise records of shipments, inventory levels, and shipping expenses.

• Confirm shipment contents, weights, and dimensions to ensure they meet carrier standards and shipping regulations.

• Identify and address shipping discrepancies, damages, and customer concerns promptly.

• Oversee delivery timelines and follow up on any delayed or problematic shipments.

• Organize and maintain all shipping supplies and equipment.

• Assist in reviewing shipping data to discover opportunities for process enhancements and cost reductions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in shipping coordination, logistics, or a related operational position.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Familiarity with shipping management systems and carrier software platforms.

• Knowledge of shipping regulations, compliance standards, and carrier guidelines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a customer service-focused mindset.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and warehouse management software is preferred.

• Experience with international shipping processes is preferred.
