SharePoint Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, lists, libraries, and workflows that support cybersecurity processes and initiatives.

• Develop and tailor Power Apps solutions aimed at digitizing and automating workflows, requests, and approvals related to cybersecurity.

• Create and manage Power Automate flows to facilitate system integration, automate routine tasks, and guarantee secure data movement across platforms.

• Generate and refine Power BI dashboards and reports that offer insights into security metrics, incident trends, and operational performance.

• Work collaboratively with cybersecurity stakeholders to collect requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver secure, user-friendly solutions.

• Implement and uphold security protocols, permission models, and governance standards across SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 applications.

• Enhance the performance, reliability, and usability of existing SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power BI solutions through ongoing improvements and refactoring.

• Diagnose and resolve issues associated with SharePoint sites, Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports.

• Document solution designs, configurations, data flows, and standard operating procedures to support ongoing compliance and operational needs.

• Stay informed about Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, and cybersecurity best practices to recommend and implement enhancements.

• Assist in change management activities, including user training, demonstrations, and communication regarding new or revised solutions.

• Collaborate with IT security and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions align with organizational security policies, compliance standards, and data protection requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience as a SharePoint Developer or in a related Microsoft 365 development position.

• An active certification in Power Platform.

• Proven hands-on experience in designing and developing solutions using SharePoint Online (or SharePoint 2016+), including site architecture, lists, libraries, and permissions.

• Strong background in Power Applications (Power Apps), especially in building canvas and/or model-driven apps that integrate with SharePoint and various data sources.

• Practical experience with Power Automate for automating workflows, integrating systems, and orchestrating processes.

• Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modeling, DAX, and secure data access practices.

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including access control, least-privilege practices, data classification, and secure configuration of Microsoft 365 services.

• Ability to collect and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective, secure technical solutions.

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 ecosystem tools and services (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD) and their integration with SharePoint and Power Platform.

• Solid understanding of web technologies relevant to SharePoint customization (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON) and familiarity with modern SharePoint frameworks is preferred.

• Experience in implementing and managing SharePoint permissions, governance policies, and content lifecycle management.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Effective communication skills in English, with the capability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
