ServiceNow SPM Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete architecture and deployment of the ServiceNow SPM suite encompassing demand, project, portfolio, resource, and financial management modules.

• Establish and uphold the enterprise SPM architecture along with a multi-year technology roadmap.

• Ensure the development of scalable and secure solutions that adhere to ServiceNow best practices and CSDM/CMDB data models.

• Promote adoption of out-of-the-box features and enforce architectural governance.

• Configure Investment Funding, Strategic Planning Workspace, Alignment Planner, and Business Planning Portal.

• Lead workshops for portfolio governance, demand intake, and resource allocation.

• Design Agile delivery capabilities that integrate with project and portfolio layers.

• Establish integration strategies with ERP, SAP, Planview, Clarity, Jira, ITSM, and other systems.

• Architect data flows utilizing REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.

• Conduct workshops, design sessions, and architecture reviews with PMO, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.

• Provide guidance to senior clients and executives on portfolio governance and digital transformation initiatives.

• Mentor developers and consultants; perform code and design reviews; establish development standards.

• Assist in pre-sales activities through solution design, demonstrations, estimations, and responses to RFPs/RFIs.

• Guide clients in enhancing ROI visibility and the quality of portfolio decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Engineering is required.

• A total of 10–12+ years of professional experience in IT.

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow.

• A minimum of 3 years dedicated to SPM/ITBM implementation experience.

• 2–3 years in a lead or architect role with responsibility for solution design and delivery governance.

• Experience as a lead or architect on no fewer than 2 enterprise-scale SPM implementations.

• ServiceNow CIS – Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) certification is mandatory.

• A Master's degree, relevant industry experience, and additional certifications such as CSA, CTA, CAD, PMP, SAFe Agilist/Scrum Master, and ITIL v4 Foundation are preferred.

• Proficiency in ServiceNow SPM/ITBM modules, scripting, scoped applications, domain separation, ACLs, security models, CMDB/CSDM, service mapping, Performance Analytics, dashboards, Workspaces, UI Builder, NowAssist/GenAI, REST, SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub, SAP, Oracle, Planview, Clarity, Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Active Directory, Okta, and SailPoint.

• Experience in regulated industries is highly preferred.
